Your Involvement

"Young children’s learning and development takes place in a range of contexts: at home with the family, in non-formal settings in the community, and in formal early childhood education and settings (ECEC). In all of these settings parents have an important contribution to make."

-Parental Involvement in Early Learning

Here you will find up to date Session Times as well as a Link to our Parent Information Pack which can also be collected at the kinder. We need the support and communication of all parents to survive as an important part of the community. The kinder appreciates feedback from all parents keeping in mind this is a positive space, and any concerns should be raised at any of our committee meetings.

Up Coming Events:

 April 2020:

Throughout the year we have some fun opportunities to raise money for our much loved kinder.

In recent years the money has gone towards:

- some amazing new play equipment

- water wall to add to our outside water play area

- and we have saved money to put towards renovating the front carpark with asphalt and raised garden beds.

This year we aim to raise money to put towards the front car park, garden beds and some more amazing equipment.

Last year we were lucky enough to receive funding for inclusive sensory fairy garden, with wheelchair access. It looks amazing and the kids love playing there.

* CADBURY CHOCOLATE DRIVE - Every family should have recieved a box of chocolates. They are $1 each. Money is due back to the kinder by Thursday 26Th March.

* BACKERS DELIGHT HOT CROSS BUNS - We will be running a Hot Cross Bun drive. For every six pack ordered $2 goes towards the kinder.

Orders and money are due by Thursday 19th March

Orders will be delivered on Thursday 26th March

* PICTURE PLATES - Children can draw a picture and have it transferred onto a plate, cup, drink bottle, clock and tote bag. Keep your eye out for the flyers and template in the kinder foyer. We will be taking orders right through till May.

We have a new ordering system for the kinder uniforms.

All kinder uniforms can now be purchased online. Anytime throughout the year. There is a great range available with some new items that we haven't been able to offer before. The ordering system is up and running. There is a range of sample stock and sizes at the kinder for you to check before you buy online.

Please make sure you regularly check the noticeboards and the children's mail pockets in the foyer, as important notices are placed in them. Also our main form of communication between the teachers and families is through the 'FLEXIBUZZ' App. Please let the teachers know if you are having any problems.

The kinder has many jobs that need to be done over the year. So we have a developed an "Adopt a job" program. Most of these jobs can be taken home and done in your own time. This way parents can help out as the jobs arises. In the foyer there will be a list of jobs that need to be done for the term. If you could pop your name down for any jobs that you can help with.

There is a roster in the foyer and also in the term 1 newsletter. Each family has one turn per year to do the kinder washing. When it is your turn please the washing and return it by the Thursday the following week.

Check out our face book page and newsletter.

We are always looking for volunteers/donations to help our busy parents run committee.
